Overview
About Me
What makes my day? Awkward conversations with intriguing strangers. new explorations of timeworn places and re-imaginings of familiar spaces. I travel to see new places, to meet new people and to change my mind - every person who enters my world, shares with me a new way of looking at the world!
"Anyone can get a life, anyone can lose it; But who will dare to inhabit the thing and use it?" -- Michael Leunig
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The most amazing part of traveling is all the amazing people you meet. Most of my travels I have either done the more traditional hostel type situation, or I have lived and worked somewhere. I'm really excited to give couchsurfing a try and see what new amazing experience I can have. Couchsurfing seems more like the kind of experience I want now - meeting locals, seeing a new place through their eyes
I have lived in houses where friends hosted couchsurfers, and have visited friends in different cities when they were also hosting couchsurfers - every time it was a new and unique experience meeting all these different travelers. I surfed a bit in Chile and Argentina in early 2016, and in New Orleans - some of the most amazing experiences of that entire trip.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
All of the things. Everything. Ever.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn how different people see the world. So I probably don't even know what I will learn from you - but I know I will learn something.
In return I could teach you how to make a rabbit chase you, or how to skin a sheep (...messily). I could teach you how to howl so well the wolves howl back at you, or how to catch a lizard. Or what it feels like to be a Aussie girl on a worldly wandering
I love to talk about what makes us tick, and how we create ourselves. I can listen. I love a good conversation.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my enthusiasm :)
I could cook you something resembling a feast that hopefully would taste as good.
I can leave your home in exactly the state you would most desire it, be that spotless, full of chocolate, teeming with the memories of happy words and smiling faces, or calm and serene like a winter lake.
