Hey, I live since 2015 in the beautiful City of Rostock with its unique ocean and people.
From the typical "fish bread" (and where to eat it) to the greatest places to be here, I'm happy to give travellers a great time. Of course I'm open to hear some of their travel stories as well... Sometimes to get some new impressions and sometimes to make new destinations for a new trip :)
Growing up in the Black Forest (in Southern Germany) hiking and enjoying the presence of nature is one of the highlights of my trips. I made the experience that you remember places you've been more likely when you visited them with your own effort (by foot or bycicle, etc.). That's the reason why I prefer going through the streets and viewing as much as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is for me the most flexible way to travel to another City and meet its great and adventurous people.
But also a great way to help them out to see/visit a natural beauty, called Rostock.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like listening to music genres which fit in a particular situations, e.g. jazz to dinner or soul on rainy days... But predominant is R'n'B, pop and rock in different languages (english, turkish, german, french, spanish, italian).
I'm watching those movies that seem to attract my current mood the most; sometimes a comedy movie with Jim Carrey, sometimes a good drama with Vincent Cassel, sometimes an action-thriller with Jason Statham...
I'm not constantly reading books, but when I do, drama books are my favourites.

Being in a place that I've probably never been before, I'd be grateful for some "pro-tips" of the locals.
