About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to reach yet another destination..

ABOUT ME

I have been travelling and living in different countries/cities all my life. The desire to learn languages "properly" that is not only learning words, but the mentality, culture and customs which come with it, is one of the main raisons why I am every few years setting up a new base in another country. This way of life brought me together with most wonderful people, with whom I am still in touch. I appreciate my fellow human beings to be sincere, respectful and descreet with a good portion of humour. I think I'm very tolerant and fit in easily in new situations or circumstances.

PHILOSOPHY

live and let live and what goes around comes around: give every day something to someone to make him/her laugh/feel better/happier and appreciated

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
first of all, sorry to be back in touch only now. Things are happening, time passes fast and in a blink month/years have passed. But I've never lost completely sight of cs and I'm glad to be again able to offer my availability to show you around or help you with questions you may have.
Unfortunately I cannot host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i've had a few very nice couch surfing experiences. one of the best I've had in marseille. i've hooked up with this lovely girl claudine where i've stayed for two nights. another nice one was with a sweet couple in rabat. the experience in essaouira was ok, even though we were three sleeping in a room on the floor, the two guys from laos were really great and we've spend quite some time and lots of funny moments together. to find cs hosts in Barcenone was impossible, in fact, in the end I've had to take a hotel room, which was very expensive and absolutely awful.

Interests

I love travelling, music, cinema.the company of friends and meeting new people - who also may become friends..i enjoy the sea, nature, good food, arts and have fun. long walks, rides with the bike, swimming, a good talk, discussing life and the world. important for me are sincerity, openess, respect, people who are easy going and sometimes can also lough about themselves (as it happens to me sometimes... :)

Music, Movies, and Books

There are lots, and lots and lots! Let's talk about it! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most impressive experience I've made is to see a full eclipse of the sun. I will never forget this. And then... it's always amazing and so exciting to make new friends and to get to know new places.

Teach, Learn, Share

If a person is hungry, we should give them bread. When there is no bread, we can at least give words that nourish. To a person who looks ill or is physically frail, we can turn the conversation to some subject that will lift their spirits and fill them with the hope and determination to get better. Let us give something to each person we meet: joy, courage, hope, assurance, or philosophy, wisdom, a vision for the future. Let us always give something. D. Ikeda
