Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I discovered Couchsurfing while living in Cambodia and mostly host, love making people feel at home. Trying to surf more these days as there's little demand for Couch in Preston, bless.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have surfed a little in London, Bangkok, and the Isle of Man. Have done much more hosting. I enjoy meeting new people, and love to hang out at home. With couchsurfing, I get to do both at once!

Interests

Good stories, kitty cuddles, teaching and learning (which are usually intertwined & not at all opposites), peace, justice, dancing (inside and outside)...

Don't even know where to start here, so I'll leave it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing individuals (children and adults) deprived of any language at all finally learn to communicate, from the basics to the abstract. Wow.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach languages (especially the signed kind), a bit of juggling, lucid dreaming, how to fold paper into a usable cup, and the Biscuit Orgasm (this simply involves a hot beverage and a Tim-Tam or Penguin). I want to learn how to whistle & levitate (not necessarily at the same time) but I'm afraid it's hopeless.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happy to swap travel tales and teach a little of a sign language of your choosing. I'm a fair cook (vegetarian) and like to clean. I've often had cleaning "accidents", I just can't help it.
