ABOUT ME

My current hobby is lawn mowing. But actually do I neither have a lawn nor a mower.

Just finished my PhD thesis about the Higgs Boson. Now I should look for a position...
Besides that, I mostly do photography, sleeping, drinking coffee or beer or wine (coffee for mornings, the rest for evenings).

I can:
- cook curry or italian pasta
- give an unfounded opinion about everything
- juggle with burning chainsaws (but only when nobody is watching)
- make you laugh, scream, sleep, run, relaxed, warm, focused or drunk

I grew up in Lucerne. (which is by many tourists considered to be paradise on earth...) I spent half a year in paris (which I think is paradise on earth), another half year in chicago and half a year in basel. I travelled 40 coutries (yes, I‘m counting them...) and now I live in Zurich.

generally I suck at:

surfing sometimes. got to know superb friends in paris. used it in the states for traveling. attending CS meetings in basel or zurich. hosting in zurich. one month of couchsurfing in eastern europe. Meeting people in Siberia. Exploring Shanghai. attending awesome CS parties in chicago.

yes, that is cool! come on...i know everybody hates physics...but taht's maybe because most physics teachers suck...;)
