CURRENT MISSION I’ve been traveling back towards California from a long road trip in the South. I’m practicing social distancing best as possible while traveling with rigorous mindfulness. My adult son recently met up w me in Colorado to join me during a gap year for him to complete his last year of law school. He was enticed by Covid to reconsider his future goals to find a more creative path than the law. We’re both interested in museums, food, cultural sites, music, art, philosophy, and social-distanced, creative meetups.

I'm off-beat, outgoing, creative, and passionate about my work as a disabilities advocate/filmmaker. Have a 31 y/old and a 25 y/old (sons).

PHILOSOPHY

Be the Light; Life is not a dress rehearsal. Community giving is a soulful must. Art is always in the eye of this beholder, and is not meant to look pretty, but rather to stir thought, emotion, insight,& feelings. Man's ego is why there will always be war. Politics suck, but I do pay attention.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Limited surfing experience I’d like to expand upon.

I really like the idea of going to amazing places and meeting new people with similar interests in life, art, spirituality, community, travel, and good-vibes.

I've traveled to 27 countries and nearly every state in the US.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Cool! Anything disabilities related (families, advocacy, personal growth and development, social and life skills, transitions planning, etc.) I am an art director for a The Friendship Circle (Chabad of the Conejo) and for The Miracle Project. I LOVE to share "paint parties"; life experiences; dreams, overcoming challenges, and all things children.

I'd like to learn to receive. I'm not very good at this.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to paint on my trips and leave behind a piece of my work. I can offer insights/consults on anything child development/disabilities with expertise in autism). Happy to cook a home cooked meal.
