I have never couchsurfed, but I have lots of friends who have, and they recommended it highly.

Jazz is great, so are short stories. Right now I'm reading some stuff by Barbara Kingsolver and Junot Diaz.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time, I woke up at 2 o'clock in the morning to hike up a mountain in rural Ecuador. We got to watch the sun rise over a layer of clouds from the top. It was great.
