I am always on the road. I love traveling and living in different places. Currently I am staying in Indonesia and trying to learn and understand about its people as much as possible. I find this part of the world wonderful, especially because of its cultural diversity and natural beauty.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. I was swimming in the sea in South Lebanon and was watching Israeli planes bombing the villages and cities in the country. It happened in 2006 July... Well, it wasn't happy but unforgettable...
2. As an ethnographist living among Kuwaiti Islamists and tribesmen
3. Teaching at a university in Yogyakarta
