My name is Anna. For me it is one of the most beautiful names in the world. I originally come from Latvia (it is a small country located next to Russia, under Finland. It's one of the Baltic States - Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) but I am a traveler. When I was little I lived a year in Sweden with my parents, spent one year in Mexico - the most amazing year of my life, I could talk about it for hours, and also spent a few years working in Luxembourg and now I am in London.

I am an open minded, friendly, caring and smiling. I smile like all the time. I guess if you would ask anyone, they would tell you that. I think I am a people person, if it is called like that. I can go up to pretty much anybody and start talking to them. Like, on my last holiday in September I just went up to one guy who was a painter and we talked for about five hours about art, travelling and meaning of life. This example pretty much says it all, I guess.

Finally, I am a normal girl (at least I think so) who likes normal things and well... there is nothing ''wow'' about me. ;) Ohh..but I am also extremely chatty - I LOVE to talk.

PHILOSOPHY

I still haven't come up with my life philosophy but basically it would be something like - live and enjoy the beauty of life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I participate as a surfer but hope to one day host people again. I feel like I can't just surf other people couches,as I find this couchsurfing thing as a giving and receiving thing. So both.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have much experience,I have almost hosted few people,surfed myself once and that's all. But I want to build my experience level!

About my interests.. I have so many of them. I will list few of them.

PENGUINS-I love,adore and just find penguins incredibly cute and amazing! They somehow inspire me. :)

Cultures - I've lived in different countries and I learned to know different cultures and that's when I fell in love with them. Seriously, there are so many different cultures and mentalities that is astonishes me, I would love to get to know all of them, but I guess - life is too short.

Music - on that one later, but I can't do anything without music.

Literature - I like to see how the literature has changed through the years and I love to read. Not only the new novels but also old one's.

Travelling - I guess this one goes together with cultures. ;)

Project365 - This is something I really, really want to do. And finally I will once accomplish that. But it will be the one year I will travel a lot and try to see different things, so my project-365 is complete and beautiful.
