ABOUT ME
I love teaching and learning, especially at a grassroots level!!
Economic minimalist, I get by with a minimum of very odd jobs, and spend the rest of the time either with my nose in a book (been reading a ton since college ended), at house/drag/performance shows & screenings, teaching silkscreen workshops, involved with the free film school in the east bay, and canyon cinema in sf.
enjoying a shoestring post college life
PHILOSOPHY
Your heart is an organ the size of your fist, so keep lovin and keep fightin!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I try to provide the welcoming and comfortable place for adventurous travelers that I hope to find when I'm travelling
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I got started while traveling in Germany--Berlin Beach Camp and surfing, Dresden, Montreal, & hosting three different groups of Berliners at the housing coop in Brooklyn. Met a ton of cool surfers in New Haven between me & my roommates hosting while running a free store there. I haven't had any space in SF yet to host :(

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Total darkness 100 ft below the ground, while caving in Georgia. We turned off our head lamps and let the darkness invade our bodies for close to an hour--strange hallucinations. In order to get to this place in the cave, we had to squeeze through the infamous birth canal!
Drippy, blown out, painted, abandoned building in Detroit, with an old warped piano in the middle of the space. Had to play really hard to make any sound, and it echoed thru the building.
Biking through El Bosque in Albuquerque. The forest floor is mostly sand, so you really have to embrace falling!! Also, Albuquerque in lightning season at the end of the summer is truly incredible.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to share the bubbly deliciousness of fermentation. You can try my kimchi.
I want to learn to play the flute or washboard or spoons
