ABOUT ME
I'm a lover. Dancing. I love my friends a lot. And I love when we all get a bit overwhelmed with how much we love each other. I like pretty things. I especially like pretty things from the bin. I am emotional and analytical. I am getting much better at writing about myself.
PHILOSOPHY
To Dance, To Dream.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf when I travel and host when I'm home.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Quite a bit. Have done more surfing as I tend to stay on the moooooove.
Interests
Classical and contemporary dance, theatre, writing in my journal, dumpster diving, eating, anarchy, people, dogs. Eating baked beans, cold, straight from the tin. Riding my bike. Taking trips to places and acting on impulses. Lace and tulle and ribbon and velvet. Floral, patterned and printed, painted and crafted, and most of all the living variety. Creative mess. Challenging myself, and others. Food with coriander.

Music, Movies, and Books
A few favourite movies:
Children of Men
Now and Then
Mary and Max
The Lion King
Coraline
Lately I have been enjoying listening to:
Shit Weather, PJ Harvey, Wolves in the Throne Room, Death Grips, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Andrew Jackson Jihad and whatever springs to mind in one of those 90's nostalgic nights.
Right now I am reading:
'What We Leave Behind' by Derrick Jensen and Aric McBay. It is brilliant, and frightening,
'The Beauty Myth' by Naomi Wolf
and
'No Logo' by Naomi Klein.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A bicycle trip: always short-lived, always amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you! I would like to learn German, guitar and piano. I'd like to learn more about photography, but I'm content practicing the basics for now. how to sew, how to cook, how to sing. I'm not so bad at cooking these days and tend to be better at teaching myself that one slowly. And I can teach you... hmmm... how to dance the ballet, how to dumpster dive and how to change a lock on a door.
