One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to the US Social Forum in Atlanta (2007) and Detroit (2009). Both were massive events with non-profits and social justice organizations from all over the country hosting workshops and lectures during the day, and music in the evening. Also, when I was a college student I went to Quebec City to protest free trade negotiations. I'd never seen so much tear gas before or since! But what was most inspiring to me was sleeping on the gym floor at Laval University with 600 people. The spirit of sharing and camaraderie was amazing.
