ABOUT ME

I live and work outdoors during the spring and summer months creating gardens and landscapes. In the winter I like to travel, snowboard and do the things I can't do during the summer such as visiting museums, galleries and just being a tourist in my own city.

PHILOSOPHY

Love outdoors not just for hippies I'm the "environmental clean up after yourself don't screw it up for the animals type person"

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Waiting to experience the couches of Spain. Slept on my friends couch in Montreal for 6 months...very comfy. Have friends who have couch surfed and loved it and recommend CS.

Exploring, I'm a wanderer I love to walk and explore places I have never seen...Architecture, Trees and plants mountains and oceans. I will try anything and everything...once..maybe twice if I like it. For example love snorkeling would like to become certified diver, love snowboarding can't wait to carve the half-pipes and love surfing...

Books(science fiction-Phillip K Dick,philosophy-Ayn Rand, nature big books with lots of pictures of gardens from around the world) Film-some trashy Hollywood tripe and lots of independent make you think goodies too. Music-everything and anything depends on my mood nothing on the radio mixed boring and it all sounds the same..except university radio..rock-on..Live shows are the best.

Plant exploration on mountains in New Zealand and the canyons of Mexico. Walked on a live volcano in the middle of the ocean. Drove across Canada in a little car with a camp stove and some lawn chairs..sooo beautiful.

Plant more trees! I am a horticulturist..urban plant sustainability, green roofs. I participate in the WWOOF experience(willing workers on organic farms)Highly recommend it. Great to see how others exist and learn from them.
