About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live, Laugh, Learn. And have fun doing it!
ABOUT ME
My name is Jessica. I am a 28 year old friend, sister, dancer, reader, nomad, goofball. I go where the wind takes me because I trust it whole heartedly. I love traveling because of the amazing experiences I've had meeting with and learning from people and places. I studied abroad in China and France while at University. I worked in Turkey and Honduras. I lived in England and the US. I believe a big key to the secret of cultures is language so I try to learn as much as I can! I'm pretty chill and love talking to people about their ideas, beliefs and planning fun things to do! I'm currently based in Madrid for a Masters program that starts in January.
PHILOSOPHY

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Remember the Titans, Twister, Dirty Dancing
Music: MJ, Cher, Madonna, Phil Collins, Tine Turner, Elton John... can you tell I'm an 80s baby? That and my parents didn't believe in listening to 'kids' songs in the car. I knew all the words to at least one album of each of these artists by the time I was 9!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I volunteered in Honduras, Central America for a few weeks with a program and had the time of my life. My eyes had never opened so wide... www.studentshelpinghonduras.org
I spent a month living in a safari area outside Phalabora, South Africa. I searched for animals every day and got to know the people and culture at night. I listened to the lionesses howl to the moon. I watched elephants protect their young. And every morning I had to check through the window. If the coast was clear I would go make breakfast and if there was a lion outside I had to sit and wait until they went away.
Went sky-diving in the states in 2008. By far the biggest rush I've ever felt. been looking for something to top it ever since...
I was in South Africa for a summer in 2005. We went up to Namibia for a long weekend and I surfed down a sand dune. Maybe one of the collest things I've ever done.
Road tripped California, from San Francisco down to San Diego. We were a 4 person crew and had the best times seeing and trying new things. meeting awesome and crazy people. And I am now an expert at pitching tents!
