About Me
I'm back in my hometown between travels, laying low and staying busy.
I'm really focusing on making time for the activities I enjoy most: traveling, hiking, reading, writing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelers are the best kind of people. Most of the time Couchsurfing is like hosting or staying with a really good friend you just haven't met yet. I love hosting and sharing my hometown with people who show up strangers and leave friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
My goal is to read 50 books this year; I prefer non-fiction, memoirs, graphic novels, and poetry. Every once in a while though, you have to read some silly romance mystery.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two of my top ten moments in life include sticking my bare foot behind an elephant's ear and making David Sedaris laugh. Unrelated incidents.
Teach, Learn, Share
Right now I'm super into birds and have been reading bird books and working on my identification! I also worked as a cheese monger and know a lot about cheese!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I don't mind cooking or doing dishes; I can always bring a bottle of wine! I love swapping stories and finding out all the different ways people are living their lives.
