CURRENT MISSION

Meeting people from different cultures and have a good conversation about anything. I would like to know how people see the world through their eyes and expand my knowledge as well as my mindset.

ABOUT ME

I'd love to explore new countries and cultures as many as possible and I enjoy meeting completely new people from any background. I am doing my master's degree on European Studies (Euroculture) in The University of Groningen, NL focusing on migration and refugee policies (I will move to Krakow, Poland for my second semester). My programme is very intense so far so I could not really travel around because for me when I travel I have to be able about the new cultures and meeting new people. So, I have to plan it in advance where I will be going although sometimes I also just follow the cheapest tickets available.

In short, I am very open minded and willing to listen all your stories. I particularly enjoying talking about politics and history, also exchanging our experiences would be fun too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My very first couchsurfing experience was in Kaunas, Lithuania October 2, 2013.
And then I continued in Turku, Warsaw, Helsinki, Istanbul, Jyvaskyla, Geneva, Tallinn, Bremen, Milan, Amsterdam, Paris, Hong Kong, Brussels, Berlin.

My first time being a host is in Brussels February 2016.

Currently, I have several times staying with many couchsurfing hosts (see my references) as well as hosted some of couchsurfer during my internships in Brussels. I could never stop using this platform as I always am amazed by the amazing people I have met during my travels.

Deep conversation about life, practicing cooking cuisine from different world, learning basic local language, outdoor camping and trekking, doing voluntary activities, and more of fun activities to get to know with my couchsurfing friends.

Seeing the northern lights in Finland during my bachelor exchange in the University of Tampere.

I love to learn foreign languages, to cook some local cuisines and also to know the history about the places I visit. I could cook some of Indonesian cuisine and willing to cook for my host also will do some dishes to compensate staying at your place.
