About Me

Hey there, I'm 26-year-old Per from Offenbach, near the city of Frankfurt am Main in good old Germany.
I'm currently working as a Junior Art Director in a digital agency and just finished my studies last year. I love to read, take pictures, cook and do yoga. And I'm also kind of an "amateur philosopher".
I'm always looking to experience unfamiliar things, discover strange places and meet new people. For me that is a part of what gives life a deeper meaning.
I love dogs, good (vegetarian) food and music.

And I make some music once in a while: https://soundcloud.com/sechsdreieins

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In order to meet interesting local people that have some advice on the area and would like to have a conversation about themselves and their city. To experience a place in such a way a hostel-stay and a guidebook could never deliver. And ultimately I'm looking for companionship throughout the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music. From classical music to modern hip-hop, I appreciate everything that inspires some kind of emotion in me.

Movies-wise I either like old movies or movies that kindle some deeper thoughts, e.g. "Dead Poets Society" or "Her".

I like books about philosophy, human behavior or certain novels. "The stranger" by Albert Camus or "Invisible Cities" by Italo Calvino are among my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What makes a thing amazing? In my subjective opinion, an amazing experience could be anything from eating pizza and playing video games with my brother to surfing waves in the south of France. But by picking that one most memorable moment and labeling it as "amazing", I think it kind of loses its "amazingness" and decreases all the other amazing things one has experienced. So I would rather say that the most amazing thing for me is the everyday experience of life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have quite a bit of knowledge about psychology, health, fitness and philosophy, so if you ever need some advice on life, I'm your guy. Otherwise I can teach you about photography, graphic design, producing music and meditation/yoga.

Ram Dass said "When you know how to listen, everyone is the guru." So just hit me up. I'd love to hear your life story or anything that you find worthy of sharing. Also I'd love to speak Norwegian properly.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversations, delicious cooking and lots of love. I've been told that my veggie burritos, homemade pizza and guacamole are quite delicious ;-)
