I am pretty outgoing, know a bunch of random useless facts, especially pertaining to history and over the years have become a good little San Franciscan! I really enjoy helping friends and strangers out and in general spreading happiness. I am easy going, helpful, love to participate in activities as well as do my own thing.

Interests

Well, I love traveling but I guess that goes without saying. I recently started getting more into hiking and in general outdoor summer activities and am really enjoying it.Winter has a special place in my heart and I love skiing, snowshoeing and tried dog sledding for the first time last winter and was amazed at how much fun it was.
When I am home I spend a lot of time brewing beer and cider and in general tinkering with little DIY projects. I have always had lots of my European friends and friends of friends crashing at my place and I love hosting them and showing them around San Francisco. I have season tickets to the San Francisco Opera, and really enjoy taking people who have never been before and sharing my passion! I read a lot and try to vary my genres though I confess History and Sci/fi do dominate my kindle.
Finally I guess I am really interested in my job! I make maps of the ocean floor for a living so I get to travel all over the place making nautical charts, meeting new people and seeing new places, some more exciting that others!
