CURRENT MISSION

I am musician and Brigitte is English teacher. Our current mission is to find people who are interested to host us for some time in the period February and March 2010 in Australia or who would like to change houses, even in a non-simultaneous exchange.

ABOUT ME

Actually, it's not only about me - it's about Brigitte & me.
Brigitte, who is working as an English teacher at a Junior' High School in the south-west of France, has one year off for complementary studies. During this year she (we) would like to go for some time in an English speaking country. We chose Australia. Australia, because she does not know this country and because I was there thirty years ago and I have appreciated very much this country and its inhabitants.
We thought of going to Australia in February and March 2010.
Of course we would not surf in one place for two months, but it would be an enrichening experience to stay some time in a place (one or two weeks).
We suggest as well to organise an exchange of house & car. We have a nice house on the forehills of the Pyrenees, 50 km south of Toulouse that we could leave in July and /or August 2011 to anyone who would leave his home for us in February and /or March 2010.
We don't want to make only holidays in Australia.
Best would be that I'd have the opportunity to play with other musicians (I play the African balafon, drums and percussion, in traditional style but as well "modern")and/or to teach this instrument(s).
For Brigitte it would be nice to give lessons in French.

our interests are close to our professions: I am musician
and my "mission" is to make what is called "world music",
not imitate folklore but create another music using sounds and playing technics from other ethnic backgrounds, especially from West Africa and India.
Brigitte wants to perfectionise her English.
Both we love to walk in the mountains.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

To play music with other musicians, for example somewhere spontaneously in the south of Morocco or somewhere in Mali / West Africa.
And I survived a mountain accident where I had fallen down, on the Mount Valier / Pyrenees.
