I like to examine the world in all its forms: new people, new sports, new countries and occupations, new ideas and knowledge. It sometimes seems to me that i still attending university because i like the process of gaining something new.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen almost anything but pop - music should be done because of inner passion, not because only of need of money. Thus i'm fond of opera and classical symphony, folk and ska, punk-rock and heavy metal, blues and jazz, ukrainian and international ethnic music.

I try to read only those books that can give me smth but bare entertainment: Umberto Eco, "Forrest Gump", Dostoevsky and Mark Twain, Hermann Hesse and Jorge Borges, Alan Watts and Lewis Carroll. Fairy-tales as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once i have seen total sun eclipse in Siberia. It was indeed astonihing and unexpected. But the most amazing was the reaction of people who gathered there to see it too. After the sky appearred violet, the sun bacame coal black and the stars started to shine like crazy, almost all people went insane: they started to shout, to scream and jump like in prehistoric age. For me it was a vision when there was no specific "here and now" - on the contrary the whole universe in its four dimensions appeared before my eyes.
