Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore, travel, learn, and experience everything I can.
ABOUT ME
I am an adventurer. I love rock climbing, backpacking, cycling, and exploring new places. I've traveled a bit around the States and Canada, but my only experience abroad comes from a trip to London and Paris in High-school, and what I've learned from friends.
I'd like to travel the world and learn about the myriad cultures and peoples that inhabit our planet. I love meeting new people and hearing new stories; at my core I am a story-teller, and I'm happiest around a campfire or at a bar talking to new people and sharing epic yarns.
PHILOSOPHY
Hedonism, 100%. If what I'm doing doesn't in some way increase the happiness of the world, why the hell am I doing it? I enjoy experiencing things; food, drink, people, sights, sounds, smells, and sensations. I hate the thought of sitting still or loosing myself in the murky waters of the corporate world.
My goal in life is to experience as much as I can, and impart that knowledge to as many people as I can. I dislike when people tell others what to do; but I love it when people offer advice or their own experiences, and then let the other person make their own decisions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently, I'd like to travel; either surfing on your couches or traveling with you. In the future when I've settled down I'm planning on hosting a few people, hearing their stories, and maybe bring them around the city (where ever I may settle down)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Not much at all, to be honest. I'm looking forward to meeting more surfers and getting to know how this whole network works.

Music, Movies, and Books
Fantasy books, punk-rock music, exciting movies. I hate depressing movies (why am I watching this? I don't care that the cinematography is awesome, its depressing!), but I can get behind some more emo bands (My Chemical Romance). Books... anything about adventure or excitement, preferably with at least some action or entertainment value.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed White Horse, a 1300 foot rock face in New Hampshire (on the East Coast of the US). I've successfully climbed it once, and had to bail off four times. Ask me about any of those five trips; each one has an amazing story behind it. Some of them involve great success, others involve epic failure. Every trip was amazing, and I wouldn't take any of them back if I could.
