About Me
I stumbled upon Couchsurfing a few years ago and quickly grew to appreciate the way it brings people together. It offered me the chance to experience different cultures more intimately, receive practical and up-to-date local insights, and most importantly, form genuine connections while traveling abroad. I met many wonderful people until the pandemic brought everything to a halt, and I hadn’t logged in since. Now I’m unable to access my old account, so I have to create this new one.
I’m a Chinese American man with a deep passion for exploring the world, and I venture abroad as often as I can. I’m particularly drawn to destinations that differ from the United States socially, economically, culturally, or politically; those contrasts are what make each journey meaningful to me.
People often describe me as kind, easygoing, considerate, reliable, trustworthy, clean, neat, and well-organized. I enjoy thoughtful, candid conversations and value perspectives that differ from my own.
Describing oneself in an unbiased way is never simple, so I hope we may have the chance to meet somewhere on this small planet and you can form your own impression. Until then, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
