ABOUT ME

I am an animal lover, voracious reader, story addict, and collector of everything from art to globes to vintage Pyrex bowls. I'm rather solitary, old-fashioned, and love to write and receive letters and postcards. I blog, I twitter, I carry anywhere from 1 to 3 cameras with me at all times, and am usually accompanied by my dog, a West Virginia stray who adopted me in the street. I find bookshops wherever I go, and always spend more money than I intend to. I am a classically trained vocalist but gave it up 6 years ago and satisfy myself with singing along to Disney songs in the car. I have a weakness for cellos, banjos, and ukuleles. I sometimes use British spellings for things but have no clue why. I adore photobooths. I make a mean pitcher of sweet tea.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Books: Anything by Neil Gaiman, Lisa Kleypas, Phillip Pullman, and Nora Roberts. Out of the Silent Planet by C.S. Lewis is my favourite book. Movies: The Princess Bride, Howl's Moving Castle, The Mummy, Iron Man, Amelie, Singing in the Rain, Pride & Prejudice, Dr. Horrible, Serenity, Stardust, Pan's Labyrinth, Sherlock Holmes.
