I just relocated to the Bay Area to actualize the next levels of my artistic journey as a music producer, model, actor, and visionary. At the core is my intention to emanate from the center of my being empowered by my most authentic self.

ABOUT ME

Greetings!

My name is Ella Pericles. Since 2007, I have been producing and performing my original electronic music around the country with my projects 'PERICLES', 'LANDSQUID', and 'ELLE VIRA'. Fully dedicated to a life of creating and sharing inspired sound, I truly have enjoyed and continue to enjoy the wide variety of experiences being a touring performer has generated.

As a music producer, I spend a lot of time in other worlds inside my headphones as I imagine fantastical dimensions near and far. I certainly enjoy a introvert/ extrovert duality as I am a bit shy and reserved at times yet birth a highly captivating energetic persona on stage in front of large crowds.

I am very turned on by the mystical and ineffable nature of our world and all the beings in it. Existence itself is my greatest muse, so I enjoy art of all kinds, written, painted, spoken, sung, played on an instrument, etc, by other artists who feel a similar connection to the mystery of life.

I am a very health conscious person who enjoys a wide variety of food , drink, entertainment, and people. I am a humanist and believe that there is something incredible and brilliant about every single person. I also believe that each of us are inherently good people and we all want to respect and honor one another, yet some people are in need of healing from past suffering or wrong understanding.

In the summer of 2013 I relocated to the Bay Area to pursue the next chapters of my life as an artist. An important reason I moved out here was to have a safe environment to complete my transition from male to female gender identity. For the last three years all my friends and fans of my music have seen and accepted me as a female spirit and I have fulfilled a role online in blogging very openly and honestly about my experience as a transgendered person. This in turn has broken the seal on any levels of self conscious vibrations that might have held me back for fear of being misunderstood. Life is often times beautiful in this special way energy is exchanged.

I am so excited to be living in the Bay and to continue producing and releasing my music for people to enjoy. I feel great things on the horizon and feel very much at home in California.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I went through a few years throughout which I was constantly hosting and helping folks out, and it was nothing short of beautiful though at times hectic! I hosted people from all over the globe and shared so much with so many...but these days I'm on the road quite a bit with my music projects (Pericles,, Chronicles of the Landsquid, Elle Vira) and am unable to host for the most part. I look forward to the next period in which I am able to serve in this way again!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed in Amsterdam and Asheville with a few friends and have hosted many awesome people in Charleston!

Interests

I spend most of my time these days in my ancient soundlab producing music and preparing my live sets with technology known as Ableton Live. Outside of music, I love all art- really all expression. Everything is beautiful and full of magic! I love to take walks, go for runs, hang upside down, spend time with plants and animals, and share stories with fellow cosmic citizens ~
