About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Doing the things I hesitate most to do & not forgetting what that teaches me

ABOUT ME

Really up for anything, anytime. I am an advernturist and go for thrills. I am definitely an outdoorsmen; hiking and being on the water are always in my sights. Open to discuss anything, so ask questions.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let-live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I'm on the road, CS is the only way I go. When I'm not on the road, my couch is up for grabs. GRAB IT!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Throughout my travels in Europe CoushSurfing was the artery in which I planned my travels. I had the most amazing 3 weeks traveling solely by CS. They were by far some of the best experiences in my life.

Interests

Anything outdoors. Love being on the water, love meeting new people, like snow, like sunshine, like cold, like rain, dislike cold and rain at the same time.

I have concluded time and time again, that I cannot say no to laughing. This often comes at the most inappropriate times, but you just have to live - and laugh!

I get really excited when I come across new things, which often causes me to have a short attention span.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - don't watch too many.

Music - like most anything.

Books - "The Long Walk"; John Grisham's my current favorite author.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I met a guy in Switzerland. He was blind and walking down the street. He got turned around, I helped him out, ended up walking with him for 45 minutes through a park, and then he asked me to meet him and do the same things the following day. That walk lasted 90 minutes. Life doesn't get any better than this. You have to live spur of the moment, and not be in too much of a rush, or too reserved to see and take advantage of what is going on around you.

Some other great times:

Backpacking in the Great Smokey's (Tennessee)
Sky-diving
Service trips to Jamaica
Backpacking Europe

Life's to short to only have 1 amazing thing

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach what you've learned by sharing what you're taught.

Culture and your way of life - that's what I want to learn, and I hope to do the same for you.

I've recently learned how to make sushi - AWESOME. Also, if you're not from WI, odds are you have not had REAL cheese curds, so that would be a priority of mine to introduce you to. And Beer-Brats!

Countries I’ve Visited

Countries I’ve Lived In
