About Me

I think that what I love about traveling is spending those special moments in beautiful settings with exciting people. I also love to write, but mostly it stays in my journal on my bedstand. I always seem to end up being engaged in everything and therefore becoming a bit stressed, but at some point I make it out anyways. Because of studies, it is hard for me to go on long travels, but I try to get away from cold Denmark as many times as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a little dream of mine.. And that is to write the stories of the "unknown." I want to tell the stories of the local people. The little stories about how they seem to get along with their day and their goals in life. This is basically why, I study to become a journalist. Which better way is there to travel, meet people, tell their stories and even get paid for doing it?

Maybe you will let me tell your story?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best decision that I have made so far, was to travel to the Eastern part of Africa. I now have a second family in Usa River, Tanzania, and a lot of friends alongside. I went to Tanzania (and Mozambique) again in 2017 and I got just as heartfelt and warm 'Karibu' as the last time, I was there. Next year I'll begin my master in Journalism and hopefully I can spend some of it working at an embassy or local media in Tanzania.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach you how to become a real Dane; this including drinking a lot of beer, eating meat from a pig and saying "Rød grød med fløde."
Maybe in return, you can teach me about your culture and home country.

For now, I have only been couchsurfing in Cracow, Poland and Berlin, Germany, but both trips were pretty damn good!
