My name is Pernille, I'm 24 and from Copenhangen, Denmark.

I am currently travelling the world with no end date. I have been on the road for the past 8 months travelling around Latinamerica and now Canada. I have a bachelor's degree in Media Science and I used to work as a handicap helper before I left Denmark.

I decided to leave Denmark because I was tired of the same routine life but mostly because I have a big desire to explore and experience the world. Therefor I chose to postpone my master's degree for a while until I'm ready to go back to Denmark.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and, getting to know new cultures and to experience the different ways of living. My experience so far with couchsurfing has been more than amazing. It keeps surprising me how kind and open-hearted people are and I can't wait to have more great experiences through cs.

Travelling through Latinamerica I travelled with a friend and we mostly used her cs, so I therefor only have two references but I've couchsurfed a lot more than these two times :)

My favorite series are Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, Friends (all time classic), Gossip Girl, Grace and Frankie... I could keep on going I did study Media Science after all, haha. Of books I love The Notebook and the danish book series Department Q.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked Acatenango Volcano in Guatemala. It is by far my favourite experience so far travelling. I also tried volcano boarding in Nicaragua and hiked the Andes in Peru, which are two other highlights of my travels.
