About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Keep the wheels spinning! The uphill is worth it for the thrill of the downhill.
ABOUT ME
I am someone who is eager to learn as much as possible and openly embrace new experiences and challenges through meeting new and interesting people.

To be passionate about life and be open to new challenges which continue to develop my awareness of the world. To continue to develop new friendships.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When possible providing a place to stay for travellers. Having travelled extensively overseas, I enjoy sharing information and stories with fellow travellers and being able to reciprocate hospitality that has so kindly and unconditionally been offered to me in the past.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was fortunate enough to be hosted by a fantastic Norwegian couple due to a mate of mine being a member of couch surfing. They were located in a place just south of Oslo, called Hvitsten. Initially, it was intended to be a 2 day stay but due to the instant rapport that was forged, it became a 7 day adventure interspersed with many memorable and not to mention comical moments.

Music, Movies, and Books
I particularly enjoy reading books that are autobiographical and biographical and also ones that inspire.
Movies: Comedy, and movies that make you think!
Music: Blues & Roots, Rock, Classical.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cycled the entire length of Chile (from Punta Arenas to Arica)on a bicycle. It was an epic journey but well worth every puncture!!
Teach, Learn, Share
Apart from sharing the insights that only a local has of their city or town, I would like to be able to share with fellow travellers the beauty of the place where I live which is blessed with beautiful beaches, national parks, mountains and vineyards. Should you fancy a bit of adrenalin or some exercise, surfing, trekking and mountain biking can be easily arranged.
Alternatively, Newcastle and the vineyards have a great array of restaurants, pubs and eateries to be sampled.
