Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Spreading the good word, and holding up the good name is the way. Keen to promote the original meaning of CS.. Love to surf, happy to host.. keep the circle growing bigger and bigger til the circle is all there is.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE 6 months of continuous couchsurfing around Europe..not a single night in a hostel. Meeting hosts that transform the way things are perceived and resulting actions ..CS has helped in growing , and growing together.. it was a fruitful adventure.
Some hosting while surfing, and 3 years solid of almost-continuous hosting in NZ.. many events, parties and gatherings in Italy and Latvia. Always trying to live up to the quality of hosts that have shared their lives. . Some hosting in Battambang Cambodia, amazing people met and much magic.
Started again after the *** - times have changed, people are responsive to this and it shows.. there are still some cool cats about. - looking forward to it.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

All music .. you know, the good stuff. Sound is amazing ,
, but noise is not friendly.
Music has been a big part of this life since age 5..
Books (they came much later) can be enlightening when time is made for them.
Movies have their time and place.

Enjoying music, exploration and communication, there have been many life experiences of a different nature all in one half of a lifetime.. . Sharing is key.

What I Can Share with Hosts

a positive perspective, help, service , experiences , an ear or two, pizza, knowledge,time and attention..
old school values and respect.

There is no I, there is no my.
No you, no your - we are just one, not two, three or more.
These words we use, they carry weight.. once they are out, it may be too late.
The grand design, it’s just a play, recognise the common thread, and let it be a blissful day.
