Down to earth, active and intrepid individual who's found an interest in travelling a bit later than normal. My interests are mostly sporty or anything adrenaline fuelled. I'm very open to trying new things as I continuously want new experiences and to be WOW'd. I've come to realise that being out of your comfort zone is the best way to be, you become a better version of yourself. Plus it gives you good stories to laugh at in the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Local culture and to meet the people that make the country what it is. Seeing wonderful views is just a part of travelling. I want to be immersed in the total experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Enjoy a variety of music. If it gets my feet moving then it’s good.
Too many films to list.
If I could recommend one it would be Touching the Void by Joe Simpson or Endurance.
2024 update - they found the wrecked ship from the Endurance book. How amazing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Effectively used the Heimlich manoeuvre on a woman and a tough bit of steak. Surprisingly it actually works and all those films I saw it in taught me well ;).
Trekked up Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scaffel Pike (England) and Snowdon (Wales) all within 24 hours #3PeakChallenge
