About Me

Hey you!

Thank you for visiting my profile here on Couchsurfing. My Name is Cajetan (short Kai) and I'm a Student from the federal higher technical institute for software engineering. I was born in Tyrol near a small town in Innsbruck and now I live with 2 other flatmates in Vienna near the Mariahilferstraße.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, that's actually a good question. I love to travel around and see some new places on the wonderful earth. I love to meet new people from everywhere and share my stories and also love to hear new stories from the other side! I think everyone can share so many experiences from their traveltime, that is amazing!

Interests

I learned ~9 years ago to play guitar and I'm still doing it if I see one somewhere. Especially on a campfire, everyone is so stunned and we all sing together and have fun! :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is one thing, that I could never stop. It doesn't matter if it is listening to music or playing an instrument, all of these things pushing me up and are helping me to get up if I'm melancholic or sad, ...
Favorite Artist(s): Sia, lana del rey, big and rich,..

Movies are not so mine, I'm more into series, like Dr. Who or Orange is the new Black.

Books are something I normally don't read because of time reasons, but my favorite book is: "Wo geht es hier denn zum Glück" by Maike van den Boom. She travels around the world and let you know, why people are so happy in their country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To start traveling.

Teach, Learn, Share

New places are so great and It feels so good to see them. That you realize you are not at home, you are completely away from your typical environment.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think, I have some stories to share from our culture, my journeys or my experience in some things. You can also find a good listener in me and probably a good cook, but not for sure. :-)

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In

Austria
