About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live with a host family while I study at the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba in Argentina
ABOUT ME
I currently live in Montreal where I study full-time and am looking forward to improving my Spanish while in Argentina for 5 months. I enjoy cooking and love trying new food, I am hoping to make new friends in Argentina with whom I can enjoy a nice meal, and of course, a good bottle of wine. When I travel I like to explore a city by foot and discover different restaurants and cafes. I am also a big fan of museums and festivals.
PHILOSOPHY
“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go...”
Dr. Seuss, Oh, the Places You'll Go!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A few years ago I backpacked around Europe with a friend and we couchsurfed in almost every city we visited. We were very lucky to have friendly and accommodating hosts every time! I have fond memories of great meals, many laughs, and even an after-hours tour of Manchester with our own personal guide!
Interests
Food is my passion - I love how it can reflect history and bring people together...and of course I love trying new things and being creative in the kitchen.
I also enjoy playing soccer (futball) and people watching while sitting outside on a patio or in a park.
