I'm Peta, a little Aussie girl living in Germany and I LOVE highlighters, forests, the colour red, pizza, sewing costumes and potatoes! I get too excited about everything, but don't worry, I love to just chill out and relax also :)

I love exploring. Going on spontaneous Adventures is the best! I l am super easy to get along with and make new friends easily. I absolutely love to go out dancing, doesn't matter what kind, but in an abandoned building is best. Recently, I've been turning a bit into a foodie- love trying anything and everything new, whether its me cooking, or somebody cooking for me! I love cooking with people and trying new recipes. I think my favourite meal of the day would have to be breakfast, depite rarely giving myself the time to eat it. I guess, just like my favourite time of day is sunrise, but I am rarely awake for it. I am trying to change thought! Nothing beats the colour of the sky and the tranquility <3

I draw, I paint, I sew, I love Art in every form and I love travelling to places with fantastic art scenes, whether is be galleries, street art, fashion, theatre or music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Great and different way to see the World. I have never really liked the touristy side to travelling. I like to experience a place by being as much like a local as I can be and Couchsurfing offers that opportunity

Interests

I love to explore, whether that be abandoned factories, cute neighbourhoods or the mountains. I absolutely adore hiking and camping and anything that allows me to get my creativity on... cooking, sewing and clothes design, craft, painting... all of it :) Recently I have become an avid baker!

Music: Rock, punk, but I also love Hardstyle (normally only when i attend a hardstyle festival), nothing is cooler than jazz, swing or funk!
Movies; Bit of a Marvel fan girl- so I love the Avengers. Also love Harry Potter. And Disney. But my favourite films are: Billy Elliot, The Intouchables, Kinky Boots and Silence of the Lambs
Books: How could I go past Harry Potter :P I also love to kill a Mockingbird, and it would be my dream to oneday read Les Miserables in French

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Organising and self-hiking through Patagonia.
Hiking and camping the Haute Route (alone) (over 200km) through the French and Swiss Alps- I say alone, but I made so many super cool friends alone the way that even though I started alone, I definitely didn't finish alone :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I am more than happy to teach you "Australian" English, how to bake decadent cupcakes, sewing (totally underrated skill- so many people cant fix socks or sew on buttons :D), hiking tips

I would love to learn to cook dishes from around the world and also improve my languages, new dance moves are always a good thing to add to my repertoire. Actually, I just like learning, doesnt matter what it is, share it with me :D
