CURRENT MISSION

Czech girl living in Calgary, Canada (trying to get a permanent residency in this beautiful country). Pretty challenging to survive long and cold winters in here :D But getting used to it (slowly but surely).

ABOUT ME

I'm friendly, very active and sporty woman. Snowboarding, jogging, cycling, hiking - my most favourite sports, but I also like volleyball, basketball (and I really love to watch sport on TV - tennis, icehockey etc.). I used to practise pole dance, orienteering and many other sports.
My life would be grey without music - I like singing (and I hope I can say that I CAN sing:D), I play guitar and flute.
I love meeting new people, tasting new cuisine and hitchhiking.
I am a nonsmoker (something like a cigarette-virgin, I have never tried and really don't want to), cleanly and adaptable.
I am really hooked on travelling! That's my best and concurrently worst interest (it costs a fortune!!!)
And there is one more thing I can't forget to mention! I'm from the Czech republic, which means that I really love beer!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because meeting new people and having chance to experience their live style is very interesting for me :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Packed my life into one 23kg bag and left my home, travelled to Canada where I didn't have any accomodation, job or friends and started over. Well, it was really hard in the beginning, but it was the best experience in my life.

I'd like to meet any people which can show me their life style and their culture. I will be glad to tell you anything about my country, habits and traditions of the people from the Czech republic. I am willing to prepare traditional czech meal.
