About Me
CURRENT MISSION - setting up house in Queensland's capital of Brisbane
After an extended working holiday, my partner and I are setting down roots in our home state of Queensland. We'll be glad to host surfers from time to time and share travel stories :)
2015 MISSION
TRAVELLING FROM THE UK TO AUSTRALIA VIA PORTUGAL, GERMANY & THAILAND! After spending almost a year living and working in the UK, I made my way home to Australia!!
ABOUT ME
I'm an easy going, down to earth Aussie. What you see is what you get. I love connecting with people who have a similar philosophy of life and are eager to discover more about the world we live in.
As a singer-songwriter, I'm a naturally creative and adventurous person and I always take something good from each experience that I have.
Being Australian, I absolutely LOVE animals, nature, the beach and the sunshine.. That said, I'm no stranger to the cold weather and it's all the more reason to pop into a warm, cosy pub and sample the local lager, I reckon! :)
PHILOSOPHY
Each person I meet is my teacher. We each have something to learn from one another. Timing is everything and things always work out exactly how they are supposed to, one way or another.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For the past few years I've been a couch surfer. Now that I have returned to Australia permanently, I'll be more than happy to return the favour to the world travellers met throughout my journeys. I love helping people out and spreading the hospitable, aussie "help a mate out" attitude that has been embedded into my nature.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couch surfed during my working holiday in the UK.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all music. Discovering new artists and genres makes me happy. Someone once said that if someone shares their music collection with you, they're actually sharing a piece of their soul. I love sharing music that I love and hearing music that other people love.
Reading...
I usually read something that will assist me on my journey. Something with deep, philosophical writings, full of positivity and inspiration. Books that I've read include The Power of Now (Eckhart Tolle), The Art of Happiness (HH Dalai Lama) and The Power is within You (Louise L Hay) as well as The Prophet (Khalil Gibran).
I'm a huge fan of Louise L Hay as well as many other inspirational/spiritual writers. From time to time I enjoy a good romance novel, but I'm usually not one for picking up fiction. Wanna talk fiction & science fiction? Talk to my partner - he's an avid reader and writer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
For 6 months I lived in my camper van and travelled all over Queensland's north coast and beyond. I worked on a pontoon at the Great Barrier Reef and had to pinch myself nearly every day, as I gazed out at the magnificent, vast liquid surroundings. The fondest moment I have from travelling North Queensland (Australia) was being taken for a helicopter ride over the reef. It was just stunning. But nothing compares to the beautiful people I connected with, throughout my 6 month working holiday/road trip while I was living in my van and trekking around the place.
