I'm a young computer science student from Croatia. I was born on the 23rd of August in Rijeka and spent my whole life on the island of Krk surrounded by the beautiful Adriatic Sea.

I'm interested in life and why things happen or exist. I'm an open-minded person who likes to meet and hang out with new, interesting and positive people. I appreciate a good sense of humor in people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet people from all over the world and learning about their country and their culture. It's interesting to see how people actually live in a specific city or country, which is a different perspective than the solely tourist one.

Interests

I spend most of my time socializing with my friends drinking beer or just hanging out. Sometimes I like to play videogames, either single or multiplayer, and that can be fallout, witcher, pes or dota, grand theft auto, rocket league or indie games like isaac, monaco, trine. I also like to spend time in the nature and chill or walk when it's sunny outside :) I'm nowhere near a professional photographer, I just enjoy taking some random photos of the world with my mobile phone.

Music, Movies, and Books

I haven't read many books but I am growing an interest slowly. I mostly like and watch movies of all kinds, but mostly some intriguing psychology and mystery thrillers. I like a lot of movies, but my favorite would be The Usual Suspects, Donnie Darko, Pulp Fiction, Django Unchained, Monty Python's Holy Grail, etc. It's really hard to list them all. My favourite director is Quentin Tarantino, and I also like most of the movies in the Star Wars universe, Marvel universe and the DC universe. Favourite type of humour would be british like Monty Python or Black Adder, but I also like the american one like The Office or South Park. I loved Doctor House and I'm currently following Game of Thrones and Rick and Morty. Rewatching Office currently, awesome show!
Music - I listen to a little bit of everything : Arctic Monkeys, Bloodhound Gang, Bonobo, Dire Straits, Disclosure, Disturbed, DubFX, Eric Clapton, Faith No More, Florence, Gorillaz, Gramatik, Iron Maiden, Jack White, Jinx, Korn, Massive Attack, Nicolas Jaar, Pantera, Parov Stelar, Paul Kalkbrenner, Proleter, Queen, RATM, RHCP, Slipknot, Snoop Dogg, System Of a Down, Talking Heads, Tenacious D, The Beatles, The Black Keys, The Doors, The Racounteurs, Thievery Corporation, Tool, etc. I also like some reggae, hip hop, different kinds of electronic music, big band music, and I'm always open to discover some new genre or band :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited Azure Window and stood on the top during a strong wind on Malta in 2015 before it crashed in 2017, and rode a ferry from Malta to Gozo which was shaking and leaning because of a strong wind. I have witnessed some kind of an initation ceremony for students of some school on the major square Dam in Amsterdam.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer the hosts my experience of the world, knowledge about my country and my culture, knowledge about the things I think I know, and maybe have a simple philosophical conversation about those things. I also know how to make turkish coffee and some basic student meals :)
