ABOUT ME

We are joyful, positive, respectful, polite, self aware, friendly and English. We have a Grand Plan to experience all that the world and it's beings have to offer and have been traveling and working our way around the world for over 6 years now..... the plan does take a tangent from time to time but that just adds to the fun. We try and learn from everything we do and believe that we are always in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing....which means every decision we make is the right one!

We met 5 years ago on a bus to Cairns; Peter the scientist and Sharon the free thinker. We can both look at the same thing and yet perceive it totally differently, which can make for some interesting conversations :)

We have just spent the last year in Canada and America and we are now making our way around South America practicing our terrible Espanol.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As we don't have a place to call our own, so far we've been participating by surfing on generous peoples couches. We love to share our experiences (we have many!) and we can cook up a storm if given half a chance (Sharon is a Vegan but don't let that worry you, Pete is a full bloodied carnivore and we have recipes for all occasions).

Most of all we are self sufficient, motivated, clean and tidy people who know how to minimize the impact a couch surfer can have on a home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far fantastic, we have made friends for life due to this fabulous web site, if only we knew about it years ago! We hope to couchsurf our way around the world, it's the best way to travel!

Intereses

Meditating, yoga, being outdoors, traveling, cooking, swimming, walking, meeting new people, live music, exploring new and old places, talking, laughing, sharing, and experiencing as much as we can.

Música, películas y libros

We love going to the movies to see everything from quirky odd flicks to the latest Hollywood blockbusters, Pete likes to read a lot and Shar loves to dance. If forced to pick, some of our favorites would include: Pink Floyd, Ghostbusters, Radiohead, Eckhart Tolle, Prodigy, Groundhog day, Donnie Darko, to name a few.

For Sharon - my first 10 day vipassana meditation course...an experience that has changed my life forever.

For Peter - standing on the top of an ancient Mayan temple with a 360 view of nothing but jungle and doubling my money in Vegas.

Jointly - walking the south west corner of Australia, 1,000km trek in 9 weeks...epic!

Pete is a masseuse and has experience in IT, Shar is a Vegan with many interesting recipes and a Reiki practitioner to boot. We are always happy to share and cooking for others is a bit of a hobbie...
