Overview
About Me
Born and raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, I was guided throughout my youth to keep an open mind and to practice kindness. From an early age, I possessed a love for nature and the outdoors. This has only grown throughout the years and has lead me to pursue a career as a marine scientist. However, this was not a very clear decision for me to make. My love of studio art drew me to consider several art schools, but in the end my lust for knowledge regarding our natural world won me over. I have always been the most at home on and near the sea.
I strive to become a complete and actualized person. To me this means following a certain way of life. I hold physical fitness and health in high regard along with spirituality and wisdom. Although I hope for my career to take me all over the world investigating what makes our world tick, I have countless passions I hope to never stop employing in my life. I enjoy creating art, writing, and music. I hope to remain active as long as my body has the strength to move. My family and friends have brought me nothing but happiness in my life and I can only repay them by returning the favor. The path I have taken in the sciences gives me the urge to put all that I have into conserving our beautiful earth. It is no secret that our environment is in turmoil. Whether this is a natural process that was meant to be or an irreversible process brought on by the human condition is not for me to decide. I only hope to understand it someday so that I may improve our condition. To live is to never stop learning.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I hope to explore our world and entertain my curiosities by travelling as much as I possibly can. Not only does Couchsurfing help to make this more affordable but it allows you to meet kind people who may call themselves locals in the area you wish to travel. Often times the best parts of travelling are the people and personalities you meet along the way.
