I am a computer nerd by day and a wanderer/explorer by nights and weekends! Actually, I do travel a lot with my career, but we take planes and stay in hotels and use Yelp to find places to eat. You'll be hard pressed to find someone who loves travelling as much as I do. I don't really care for the tourist traps and prefer to find the little gems and hidden secrets that the locals love to partake. The aspects of travelling that I am most passionate about are the foods and the people from different cultures or walks of life. I thoroughly enjoy breaking bread and conversing with fellow travellers. I find that the more places you travel, the more open minded you become to the wonderful experiences that other cultures offer. I love people watching as well...I find people so interesting and accents are just awesome to hear!
I'd be willing to host if I'm not on travel for work, but I'm not sure if anyone would want to stay so far from downtown Charleston. My house is in a new subdivision about 40 mins outside of downtown Charleston. I know when people think of Charleston, they want to be close to downtown and/or the beaches:-/

Grew up in Charleston, SC so I know this city like the back of my hand! So, I make a great tourguide of local favorites if I'm hosting at my house. As far as if I'm being hosted, I am very respectful of your stuff and home. I own my own home and worked very hard for the things I have; so I will take care of your place and belongings the same way I would appreciate someone treating my place and stuff. I have so many interests and have dabbled in so many things that I can have a conversation with strangers on the subject of just about anything. I am a Gemini as well, so that should explain why I can get along with just about anyone and why I have so many hobbies.
