One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove 18 hours round trip to see my friend Ashleigh Stone open for Blue October in Niagara Falls. I ended up hanging out with Ashleigh, Justin Furstenfeld and his wife on the tour bus, discussing fatherhood and beards and diets.

We didn't talk about music at all. For that time, we were all just people, and friends. The next tour I saw Justin on, he recognized me, and said we need to hang out again.

Great things tend to happen when I make extensive plans to see the bands I love.
