ABOUT ME

We "grew up" in the US and moved to Vancouver, BC Canada where we spent 5 amazing years. In early 2011 we moved to Germany to travel and because Pete got a great Postdoc position doing solar energy research at a university here. We are immersing ourselves in the language, culture, food, and of course, the beer and wine. :) We were lucky to find a great apartment with some extra space and fantastic views of the Fortress from our balcony. 我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hiking through the jungle, in the dark, in Colombia...harvesting 30lbs of home-grown green tomatoes and finding a way to not waste a single one...sleeping under the stars on the ridge of the Lions in Vancouver, BC...celebrating the Summer Solstice in Riga, Latvia and watching the sunrise just as it set...hiking to Machu Picchu in Peru...living on this amazing, beautiful planet!
