About Me

ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand. Studied in Singapore and USA. I've worked in Bangkok for the past 6 years but have just moved to Sydney in search of a place that feels like home.. I care deeply about spirituality and sustainability--of both the people and the planet itself. So I'm particularly passionate about all things related to well-being, quality of life, environment, and energy. I enjoy deep soulful conservations but also like fun and light-hearted moments. I love exploring the world and learning from others so please don't hesitate to reach out!

PHILOSOPHY

I've come to the realization that life is not all about me. It's about being with the present moment and understanding the interconnectedness of all beings. I live each day with faith in mankind's transformative power and ability to change. I live each day believing that I can make an impact and create positive social change.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Part of the reason I love travelling and meeting new people is to feel small. The more I travel, the more I realize how each of us is just one thread in this fabric we call the universe - each with its own story to share. The diversity of our planet is fascinating. I've learned so much both about myself and the world through interactions with others, both personal and through observation.

I enjoy having deep conversations, being inspired by others and (hopefully) inspiring others in return.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Coldplay, One Republic, and usually what's on the radio at the time.
Movies: Dead Poets Society is my all-time favorite. Nothing beats it. Other movies I love: Maurice, Forrest Gump, American Beauty, Love Actually, A Beautiful Mind, Goodwill Hunting, 3 Idiots, Avatar, 50:50, Requiem for a dream

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing up to the Tiger's Nest in Bhutan. Scuba diving with whale sharks. Skydiving over Fox Glacier in New Zealand. Seeing the northern lights. Can't really choose one. I believe in Henry Miller's quote: "One's destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things."

Teach, Learn, Share

I've worked in climate change and sustainability-related roles for the past 6 years, so if you're curious to learn more about climate change and what's being done to address this, I'm happy to chat :)
