About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet lots of interesting like and unlike-minded people, both at home and abroad.

ABOUT ME

I am a writer, actor and musician who currently makes his fortune working in childcare.

I think of myself as a pretty quiet, somewhat shy guy, but that does not seem to be how I present myself, because whenever I have the queasy privilege of hearing someone describe me it is always as an exceptionally bubbly and extroverted person.

I speak and write a little Hungarian, and am just starting to learn German - to be honest, 'Beginner' might be pushing it a little!

PHILOSOPHY

Bask in the richness of life, spread what little quota of sweetness and light is available to you, and keep things convoluted.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted, made some very close friends in the Adelaide CS community, and intend to do lots of surfing in my imminent travels

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Even without travelling, Couch Surfing has led me into many adventures, introduced me to a range of great people, and been the catalyst for some very close friendships. My previous two years would have been unimaginably different if I hadn't joined up.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The moments and experiences that are most special to me aren't necessarily things that make sense in a blurb like this, but I think that I can sum up most of my favourite experiences as occurring in moments when I have been comfortably lost.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: songs (from Gershwin to Kanye) on the guitar, bass or ukelele; reaction comedy, archaic South Australian slang.

Share: conversation on any topic (I am not exactly the classic stoic male), comparing notes with fellow writers and composers, adventure!

Learn: about other cultures, individuals, languages, any useful or esoteric knowledge you have to impart.
