Hello all! I am a 25 year-old American who has been living and working as an English teacher in Warsaw, Poland for the last 1.5 years. I've tried to make the most of my time in Europe by traveling and meeting people from different cultures as much as possible. I'm quite open-minded, tolerant, and through my time teaching English I have learned a lot about communication with as many different kinds of people as possible. I also really enjoy discussing and learning about history and politics.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Usually on my travels I've stayed in hostels or with friends and I would really like to try Couchsurfing after hearing so many good things!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran a marathon in 2015 (in 4:03) which was probably one of the hardest things I've ever done, mentally or physically. Lost six toenails but fulfilled one of my lifelong goals.

I'm generally a good conversationalist and enjoy cooking, so I would love to speak with you or make some food! I think I am generally funny and have a decent sense of humor, plus I am happy to share my travel experiences or perspectives as an American living in Europe. Finally, as an EFL teacher/native speaker, I am happy to assist with editing or proofreading anything in English!
