Hi, I'm Peter from the Czech Republic! At 20 years old, I’ve learned that life moves fast, and I want to experience it fully - offline.

Back home, I work as a Deputy Store Manager in a large electronics retail chain (Planeo.cz). I used to run my own e-bike business full-time. Now, it’s become my passionate side hustle where I still enjoy fixing bikes and the mechanics behind them.

This is my third trip to the USA, but this one is special. I’m traveling to Denver specifically for a specialized medical treatment regarding a rare visual condition (Visual Snow Syndrome). While my main goal here is healing, I am fully active and eager to explore the beautiful nature of Colorado.

My Philosophy: Last year, I made a big decision to delete my social media accounts. I realized I wanted to live in the real world, not scroll through a digital one. I’m here to make genuine connections, share stories face-to-face, and enjoy the moment without worrying about the perfect photo.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing: I’m not looking for a free hotel. I’m looking for locals who can show me their perspective of the world. Since I’m living offline, I value real conversations and shared experiences (like a hike or a good meal) more than anything else.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Shortly after my 18th birthday, I decided on a whim to visit LA. Just 72 hours later, I found myself landing at LAX with only a small backpack and limited funds. It ended up being the most incredible experience of my life. Life really is about the choices we make!
