Overview
About Me
I'm a fun loving, optimistic, musically driven, young man with a newly acquired wander lust. I've spent so much of my time working since high school that I really missed out on traveling in the years afterwards. Now that I've learned the amazing opportunities that you can have while traveling, I am itching to go out and experience what the world has the offer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I knew someone who used this site to travel and she had friends all over the country because of it. She also knew great local spots and how to navigate like a local because of her experiences traveling alone. I was inspired by this person and I hope to be able to meet people, share experiences, learn as much as I can, and grow through interactions based around kindness and without transactions.

Music, Movies, and Books
String Cheese Incident, Circles Around the Sun, The Growlers, Queens of the Stone Age, Tame Impala, Neil Young, Temples, Jerry Garcia, Grateful Dead, bluegrass, rock n roll, Americana, Odesza, Griz, Grammatik, Run the Jewels, Bob Marley, CCR, Lotus, Jungle, Muddy Waters, Tycho, Chic, Daft Punk,
Waking Life, Samsara, anything Dr. Who, Futurama, Food Network, The Office (US)... Honestly, I don't watch TV anymore.
I love poetry... Jane Hirshfield, Book of Nightmares, and of course Shel Silverstein.
My favorite book is probably Siddhartha. I read it over and over again.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I won a property management award in May of 2017. I was one of 17 people selected and I accepted the award in front of 40,000 people. I'm still in awe and it was a humbling experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I think I spent most of my life closed off to people and I'm learning now that I don't have to be that way. In the last few months, I have really opened up. I spent a lot of my life being bullied by family and peers and have grown up extremely independent because of it.
I can cook an assortment of plant based and vegetarian dishes which I like to share.
"May you find the house hospitable,
well-used,
stocked with sufficient goods.
I'll settle with your leavings,
as you have settled for mine,
before startling back into the darkness
that marks each of us so differently"
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking and I enjoy cooking with friends and family in the kitchen. I also have a knack for fixing things on a very basic level. I'm also really good at not only cleaning up after myself but after other people. I'm also up for stargazing, shoegazing, vinyl playing, or as an ear. I also will play with your dog and pet your cat. If you have anything you need help with, you can always ask.
