ABOUT ME

I play the banjo and sing. I've been around several instruments before I found the banjo.
One of my biggest dreams is to be abel to reach other people through my music.

Apart from playing music I practice martial arts; Weng Chun Kung Fu, Muay Thai and some MMA. I admire the idea of honor, respect and philosophy that you find in many martial arts. I also like the fighting; winning is great getting beaten up just as good. I am thriving to see how far I can push myself. In most things i've done i've found myself swinging between extremes.
In general I enjoy any sport.

I have been raised in a home where almost everything is made from scratch. So I think about what I eat. Since I was little I have had a dream about living in the forrest, to live of things you collect and grow yourself would be awesome !

The best way to travel is only to bring what I can carry on my back
When I travel the unexpected events is what I love. When ever I come to a new city I try deliberately to get lost and then find my way back.
I prefer Walking.
Citys with water canals are the best.

I love the early morning and late night hours.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live my life being as true and sincere as I can.
Almost every aspect of my life is influenced by the thought of "all or nothing". I identify myself with everything I do and therefore I strive to do the best that I can to reach my ambitions.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I Couchsurfed for the first time in June (2010). I had a wonderful host; Bill.
I've showed several people around Copenhagen and met a couple by chance.
And hosted many great people.
I've only had great experiences.

Interessi

Music, reading, sports, philosophy, nature, communication, meditation and hypnosis and much more.
I enjoy learning, anything really. Knowledge gives me a sense of meaning and satisfaction. I think a lot and therefor i really enjoy a good conversation; to learn what other people think.
I lost my mother 4 years ago to a brain tumor. After she died I became a volunteer counselor at "børn unge og sorg" (children, youths and grief) an organization helping children and youths in living with a sick or dead parent(s).
I am very passionated about sustainability. Especially how we live and grow our food.

Musica, film e libri

I am currently reading; "Forandringer - NLP og Hypnose struktur" (translated; Changes - NLP and Hypnosis structure) by Richard Bandler and John Grinder.
I am also reading "Man the Hunter" an Symposium on the hunter gatherer society.
I am very fond of Paul Auster, Jose saramago, Italo Calvino, Micheal Pollan among many others.

At the moment, I listen to "The Rodeo Goat Sessions" a collaborative by Yo-Yo Ma, Stuart Duncan, Edgar Meyer and Chris Thile. Its amazing. Check it out if you don't know it !
I am really inspired by Bassekou kouyate and the Ngoni Ba. Bassekou is an amazing Ngoni Player.
Tim O'brien is also one I spend at lot of time with at the moment.

I`ve always wanted to learn how to do handstands. I play billiards whenever I get the chance, but I am not very good yet. I really want to learn how to use the dots (those white ones on the side of the table) properly.
I'll like to share any think that i know to anybody who is interested.
