My background is in mechanical engineering but these days I'm pursuing a new career as a fine art photographer specializing in landscape and wildlife photography and am traveling around the country attending art festivals as a artisan vendor. I fell 40y feet 3 years ago which changed my life and the path I travel on. Before this accident I worked in corporate America in cubey-land but since my recovery have chosen to follow my childhood passion of art as expressed through a camera lens. Also a hallmark of my life since the 40y foot fall has been a deep appreciation for the power of gratitude in my life and being thankful simply for what is given. I believe we are here for just a short while and should do our best to treat one another kindly and to leave our world a better place then how we received it. For me this is about sharing the beauty of nature I experience while out and about in wilderness. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm interested in meeting and networking with new people in places that I travel to as well as keeping my travel costs lower by keeping myself out of hotels and motels, etc. I'm self contained with a toyota tacoma truck and trailer and have traveled all over the west from Alaska to California. I love good conversation and connecting with others.
