About Me

Peter Hopkins was just another nerd born in the mid 80’s. That is, until he

discovered Dungeons and Dragons in his adolescence. Now, imbued with encyclopedic knowledge of pen and paper role playing games, Peter Hopkins chooses to embark on his own quest:

Leave his home town and venture forth to find greater challenges in the D&D and R.P.G. communities. His achievements include his flawless driving record, superior computer knowledge skills (including constructing his own computers since 2001), two years volunteering as a local coordinator at his local gaming and comic store , and nearly a 10 years of Dungeon Mastering experience with various pen and paper RPG systems.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I voulenteer at many conventions along the west coast. Sadly, I am unable to afford most accomidations and often choose to sleep in my vehicle. But I'm trying out this website to see if others may take pity on this lonely wandering wizard of RPGs and occasional cannabis smoker.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lately I've been enjoying lo-fi beats, 8-bit style music (mostly Crypt of the necrodancer or Shovel knight soundtracks), and various other EDM, trap, glitch-pop that comes across my soundcloud account

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Run weekly D&D games with kids age 8-15; helping shape future role players, and allowing them a safe and inviting environment to learn about D&D.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have an intense desire to learn about music! I really enjoy the idea of 'a jam session'. I usually have my Melodica with me, and less often, an akai49 key syth. I'm not very good at either of these insturments, but I figure the best way to learn is to jam!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm always happy to run a game of D&D, as an introduction, or as part of your regular gaming group.

If that is not your interest, I don't mind cleaning dishes, taking out tashes, and other general cleaning tasks.
