I'm a marine biologist that was living in the Falkland Islands working as a scientific fisheries observer, so I spend a lot of time out at sea! I just finished my contract and am travelling central America since late October. I grew up in Malaysia to a German father and a Malaysian-Chinese mother. I really enjoy traveling and I usually travel alone because I reckon that's the best way to meet new people and experience the local culture.

Favourite films: too many - I've watched all of Quentin Tarantino's, Wes Anderson's, Christopher Nolan's, Coen Brothers', Charlie Kaufman's, and most of Martin Scorsese's and PTA's films. I'm quite a film buff and would love to talk about movies!
Favourite books: I've read all of Haruki Murakami's fiction offerings. I also read a lot of non-fiction on topics like geography, politics, psychology, and especially science.
